Abstract

The authors use a combination of research methods: sociological investigation, literature analysis, interview, comparison - history, and cultural studies to provide a comprehensive picture of the current state of education of traditional cultural values for undergraduate students in Vietnam. In addition to using secondary data, the authors surveyed 5,588 people, including 408 faculty members and 5,180 students selected from universities using stratified random sample selection. Based on processing information from surveys and practical analysis, the authors point out the advantages, limitations, and causes of the limitations of the education of traditional cultural values for undergraduate students, thereby proposing 5 groups of practical solutions to improve the quality of traditional cultural value education for students at universities in Vietnam nowadays.
