Abstract

Compared with economic, political, social, and cultural fields, culture is a specific, sensitive and delicate field, directly related to the creative process of individuals and communities. Along with the process of renewing thinking, cultural awareness, especially awareness of the role of culture in socio-economic development and the building and formation of human personality, system mechanisms, policies, and laws on culture in general and specific fields of culture, in particular, have gradually been improved, meeting the practical requirements and needs and demands of the people. In addition to the achievements, the work of formulating and promulgating policies and laws on culture also faces many difficulties and challenges. On the basis of theoretical research on culture, the role of culture; cultural policy; this study focuses on analyzing cultural policy, principles of cultural policy, and the role of cultural policy; thereby proposing some solutions to improve the quality of the promulgation of cultural management policies in the context of globalization and international integration of Vietnam.
