Open Access Policy

All articles published in Lex Humana are immediately available in open access, free of charge for reading, study and download, without subscription, charges or embargo. The journal does not charge authors submission, peer review or publication fees.

The Catholic University of Petrópolis (UCP), a nonprofit community institution responsible for publishing the journal, contributes financial and personnel resources to sustain this model.

Authors retain copyright. Articles covered by the current policy are published under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivatives 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), which permits sharing with appropriate attribution, for noncommercial purposes and without distributing modified versions.

Consult the license stated on each article’s page and file and the Copyright and License Policy for the applicable conditions. Revising the policy does not automatically change the license of earlier publications.
