Abstract
The article considers administrative violations of the information legislation in the border area. Specific features of liability in this field have been defined. The analyzed norms of administrative legislation and scientific works made it possible to outline the problems of legal regulation in this field and to determine directions for their improvement. The article also analyzes modern informational relations in the border area. Relationships regarding the creation, collection, receipt, storage, usage, distribution, preservation, and protection of information in the field of state border protection have been investigated and disclosed. It has been determined that they relate to the interests of neighboring states, individuals, and legal entities that cross the state border or carry out various activities along or directly on the state border of Ukraine.
