Resumo
Nas últimas décadas, o apoio de jovens a ideais e lideranças autoritárias tem crescido globalmente, desafiando o constitucionalismo e o Estado de Direito. Este artigo examina as razões por trás dessa tendência, destacando fatores como desilusão com o funcionamento democrático, desigualdade econômica, mudanças culturais e o impacto das redes sociais. Baseado em estudos documentados, a análise aponta como o ceticismo em relação à democracia tem levado os jovens a buscarem alternativas autoritárias, impulsionadas por uma combinação de insegurança e insatisfação. A pesquisa também explora possíveis caminhos para restaurar a confiança nas instituições democráticas, enfatizando a necessidade de reformas que conectem a juventude aos valores democráticos.
