Fees and Funding

All articles published in Lex Humana are immediately available in open access, free of charge for reading, study and download, without subscription, charges or embargo. The journal does not charge authors submission, peer review or publication fees.

The Catholic University of Petrópolis (UCP), a nonprofit community institution responsible for publishing the journal, contributes financial and personnel resources to sustain this model.

Authors may obtain language or formatting assistance at their own expense and risk. The journal is not responsible for fees charged by those services and does not guarantee acceptance.

Submission by authors

A manuscript must be submitted by one of its authors or coauthors through their own OJS account, with the agreement of all coauthors. Submissions by third parties who are not authors are not permitted, even when authorized. The named CRediT contribution statement must be submitted separately from the anonymized manuscript during review, in accordance with the authorship, contributions and submission policy (CRediT).
