Abstract

Civil construction is one of the sectors that most contributes to the generation of solid waste, therefore, it is necessary to find ways to reduce and compensate for the damage caused to the environment. The issue of sustainability in civil construction is still little prioritized, requiring the use of studies that show the advantages of reusing its residues (RCC), which are environmental, economic, or social. This research aims to contribute to the study of the use of civil construction waste as coarse aggregate in the composition of new permeable concrete for application in paving for light traffic. Recycled coarse aggregates were used to replace gravel in four different mixes, varying the recycled aggregates substitution factor at 15%, 25%, 50% and 75%. Concretes with compressive strength in the range of 1.95 MPa to 4.33 MPa were obtained.
