Therefore, the purpose of the academic paper is to clarify the development of ethical and legal aspects in cloning the human body and determine the features of this process and the current challenges. Such methods as analysis, synthesis, generalization, explanation and qualification of data were used in the process of writing the scientific work. The primary sources for clarifying our research purpose were the fundamental Convention on Human Rights and Biomedicine as of 1997 and international legal and domestic regulations of the issue outlined. The problem of human cloning has not only technological and moral aspects. It should be considered more broadly in the context of the science progress, the possibility and necessity of its regulation, including the legal and ethical aspects of any research paper. Moreover, it is about the legal regulation of human cloning at the national and international levels. This is the case when the legal influence has a precautionary nature and makes it possible to trace the emergence and development of a new field of legal regulation.</p> ER -
